That’s the phrase that many couples say when they want to hold an event that is very valuable to them, they want these precious moments can be remembered forever in the images they see are also great for the results. tips photography

1. Use Two Cameras tips photography

Beg, borrow, hire or steal an extra camera for the day – set it up with a different lens. I’m trying to shoot with one wide angle lens (great for candid shots and in tight spaces (particularly before the ceremony in preparation days) and one longer lens (it can be useful to have something as large as 200mm if you can get your hands on one – I use 70-200mm).

2. Family Photos Wedding Photography Coordinator

Finding a family photo part of the day can be very stressful. People will go anywhere, you are not aware of the different family dynamics play and people are in a ‘festive spirit’, to the point where it can be quite chaotic. Get spouse to nominate a family member (or one for each side of the family) which can be a ‘coordinator’ of them. They can gather all the people, helping them in the shot and keep things moving so that couples can go back to the party and happy.

3. Group Wedding Shots

One thing I’ve done at every wedding that I photographed is attempt to photograph every person present in a single shot. The way I do this is to set the place that I could up high above everyone straight after the ceremony. This might mean getting tall ladder, using a balcony or even climbing on the roof. High up the beauty is that you get everyone’s face in it and can fit many people in one shot. The key is to be able to get everyone to where you want them to stand fast and ready to get a shot without having everyone stand around too long. 4. Wedding Photography In Preparation is key

So much can go wrong on the day – so you need to be well prepared. Have a backup plan (in case of bad weather), have batteries charged, memory cards blank, think about the route and time to get to places and get a full day’s schedule, so you know what happens next. If you can attend training at the ceremony where you will gather lots of great information about possible positions to shoot from, light, order of ceremony, etc.

5. Expect the unexpected

One more advice that someone gave me on my own wedding day. ‘This will Go Wrong – But They Can be a part of the Best Day’. In every wedding that I’ve participated in something tends to go wrong with that day. The best people can not find the ring, the rain poured down just do the ceremony ended, the groom forgot to do up the fly, flower girl decided to sit in the middle aisle or the bride can not remember her oath ….

Today may feel a bit panicky at the time – but the moments that can really make the day and give the bride and bridal memories. Trying to catch them and you could end up with some fun images that sum up the day very well.

I still remember the first wedding I photographed where the bride and groom hit the tram car on the road to the park where we will take photographs. Cried the bride, the groom stress – but we all will settle down after people start to see some of the funny side of this time and we even took a few shots before driving to the park.
